KARLA NWEJE has a background in concert dance, theater, literary arts, and education.  Since earning her BFA in Dance Performance & Composition from Brooklyn College/CUNY, she has performed and toured with dance and theater companies and has created numerous works for the stage.  Ms. Nweje is also a published author and contributing writer to literary journals & anthologies and has written/presented interactive performances for youth.  Drawing also from her background as an academic educator and youth program coordinator, Karla continues to cultivate arts education partnerships through her work as a teaching artist & arts education consultant across programs within the state of Minnesota and beyond.
